Summer Island Paradise is the name of the game… well actually the theme well eh… who cares
SUMMER IS HERE :X Yes I think I made it in time
Genre: Summer Paradise, Ren-ai
Character Design: Marui, Motsutsun
Soutarou just manages to pay his school fees by doing part-time jobs. After helping his junior Umi and skipping his shift, he was fired from his part-time job and was having problems making ends meet. Umi felt responsible for his present situation and introduced him to a part-time job at a Southern resort. With deep blue skies, clear seas and vibrant vegetation, the place looked exactly like in the travel magazines.
Moreover, he was surrounded by many girls: energetic little sister-like Sango, affectionate tennen ojousama Riho, shy and earnest Shiori, and the kind but also strict manager Nagisa. Arriving at the resort, Umi turned to him and asked him to spend the time there as her boyfriend.
taken from Micchi’s summary description cause I’m a lazy.
幸崎 羽海 (Kouzaki Umi)
The girl that somehow end’s up on Soutarou’s bed after the mixer has a strong uncanny physical resemblance to Accel World’s Kuroyukihime except more busty, also Soutarou’s junior as they study in the same college; because of her our protagonist somehow looses all of his part time jobs, also she’s prone to delusionary moments that go out of hand and she was also the one who set up the part time job in the resort managed by her childhood friend Nagisa who works for her parent’s company.
牧 汐璃 (Maki Shiori)
Nagisa’s cousin, also works in the resort managed by Nagisa who also happens to live there as well, she’s also a painter as a hobby but more of that once you get deep into her route
杵築 莉帆 (Kitsuki Riho)
Riho… ahh the one with the largest bust in the cast working also in the resort, a workaholic, who is afraid of insects and strange stuff and will “freeze” upon sight of such things.
津久見 さんご (Tsukumi Sango)
Konami’s bestfriend and classmate, different school with Umi and Soutarou, a very energetic little girl (near loli dimensions so it’s not an understatement) in contrast to her best friend’s timid personality, the tomboy to Konami’s girly girl.
狩生 渚 (Kariu Nagisa)
Manager of the Resort who hires Umi and Soutarou, Cousin of Shiori and childhood friend of Umi, who also works for her parent’s company IIRC, a professional looking woman with a squishy interior if you get my drift.
3P route is initially available Harem Route is a DLC patch if you have the original game, Sweetest summer adds 3 append routes for Umi, Sango and Riho, other than that nothing special about the title.
A clean simple Textbox with all the buttons you need presented to at face value.
looks like Pulltop is also taking a step as there’s a rewind function from the backlog like their recent games as of late.
Black to gray upon finishing the selection Nagisa’s route is locked until second playthrough I do not know why… its like those 3P routes… YES YES I’M REFERRING TO KOKORO FUNCTION and KONO OOSORA NI, TSUBASA WO HIROGETE WHY MAN WHY… :X
Like the burriko engine also supports mouse gestures easy to browse through tabs including the save and load so no more main menu bungling nice design over all ohh also there’s system voice as well.
Load and Save
save and load are the same without any design changes no fuss no buss, click play easy as that.
Mmm your typical CG viewer click and click some more till you go clickity click.
If I had the chance to compare the H scenes with Clover Day’s considering I lost my H drive I still found the scene hotter than Clover Day’s ok… exemption with Anri’s outdoor event that was hot and very MANIAC (I’d like to add a Ohh~ sound effect but eh). Other than that hotness value may vary.
Anze Hijiri yet again I like some of the BGM really gives of that “summer-vibe” but other than that yeah so-so.
Another Pulltop game in my list I see… anyway it could have been good if it was released early summer but n it was released early spring :X well ok, this is a melo-drama slice of life eroge, a good change of pace when having to do easy readings (nukiges?). this game is almost similar to Clover Day’s which is going to be my next review which I will be posting no soon after this post. The routes themselves have that easy feeling once the drama is all over without deep deep PLOT TWISTS, so read this after a bunch of deep deep nukiges that is what I can recommend and perhaps it will be an enjoyable ride, the pacing early on has some issues but other than that its fine.
with the Maru back I guess 1 more review to go.
you know what I haven’t really reviewed bad bad eroges… Nekonade anyone?
